YOGA

We offer private yoga instruction and group sessions by certified integrative Yoga therapists trained in many styles of yoga.  Classes are held in the privacy of your room or outside in our specially constructed "Yoga Court" enjoying the mountain scenery.

David Caris has been teaching yoga and pilates in our area since 1999.  Certified in Ohio, David taught previously in the Cleveland area. His yoga is a blend of the Hatha and Kripalu schools.

"Yoga is an ancient path of deep listening and inner peace in the midst of our full and active life" says Yogi David.  Practicing yoga brings strength, flexibility, openness, enhanced vitality as well as an ability to focus in the present. A session of Yoga can be just the right preparation for hiking and enjoying the glories of Yosemite.

Yoga is not an exercise class and a person may participate at any age, with any level of physical conditioning, it will meet you where you are, as you are.

The pace of David's Yoga is gentle with the focus on the individual developing a personal practice. "Whether your goal is stress reduction or aligning your body with your deeper energy and concentration, our practice together will support your inner movement toward greater harmony and balance."
